Designed for children ages 7+, mPie (ages 7+) is a transitional STEM learning system that moves from the basics of circuitry and hardware components of mPuzzle to initial concepts of coding that are also taught in Microduino Mix Kits 1-4. Using mPie’s components, children discover the world of hardware coding, through which children learn how to visualize the logical and sequential order of things in a physical way. With its lessons linking concepts between the physical and virtual worlds, mPie projects increase in complexity to reinforce the importance of sequential ordering are vital, and teach problem identification and solving skills when such ordering is flawed.

A child’s professional ambitions, whether those extends to being an engineer, scientist, climatologist, product designer, or some other similar career, begin with an overarching understanding and internalized perception of what all this means. mPie includes intermediate-level, magnetic, snap-together modules that teach children the next tier of circuitry concepts. Each project turns an everyday function into a hands-on understanding of energy, physics, and more — fueling a child’s interest in how things really work.

Designed for children ages 3+, mPuzzle includes magnetic, snap-together components that teach basic circuitry concepts. With mPuzzle, kids learn through play, and come to understand how things work through cause and effect. The product offers everything kids need to construct simple objects found in our everyday world such as a street lamp that comes on at dusk or the LED on a TV remote control that comes on when in use. Using ordinary objects provides instant familiarity with function, and challenges kids to learn how things work by building out a simple, miniature model with snap together components.

The build it yourself Microduino Self-Balancing Robot is a two-wheeled self-balancing mobile robot. The robot will attempt to self-balance itself upright during controlled movements or from external forces. It is controllable over Bluetooth from mobile devices (Android or iOS) using the Microduino mRobots app.
